Fighting for Safer Schools
Our Mission
Children spend 8 hours a day or more at school. It becomes a second home where the bulk of their development occurs. Parents should be able to send their children there with peace of mind that they will be safe. In the unfortunate event that sexual assault occurs against a child in school, we make sure that their stories are heard. We demand that child predators are brought to justice.
Stories We Cover
We speak out against sexual assault or molestation that occurs against grade school-aged children in Georgia, especially when reports are mishandled or neglected by administration officials. Our mission is to share when this injustice takes place while using discretion when it comes to explicit details and the child's/family's identities.
School Officials
Georgia students spend 8 hours or more at school. It becomes a second home for them. Parents should be able to trust that their children will be safe in school. If a school official violates this trust, they should be brought to justice.
Camp Counselors
Youth camp counselors are in charge of creating a safe environment for kids. Often, due to the large number of kids in their care, incidents involving sexual abuse may be ignored or mishandled.
Religious Leaders
Religious leaders are viewed as people with upstanding character and morals and therefore, would never do wrong. These views tend to make religious leaders powerful and protect them from accountability. Regardless of power or status, predators must be held accountable for their actions.
